About Márkó

Márkó Benes is a printmaker and designer based in Macclesfield, UK. Born in Hungary in 1978, on the eastern side of the former Iron Curtain, he graduated with an MA in Printmaking from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2002.

Alongside his artistic practice, he works as a Creative Team Lead at Envision Pharma. His work includes illustrations, screen prints, and paintings. He has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions in Hungary and the UK, although in recent years he has focused primarily on developing new work.
